Merio Ameglio - Art for Sale

Merio Ameglio (1887 – 1970) was born in San Remo in north-western Italy on the 4th October 1897. He lived in Montmartre, Paris from 1938 until his death on 29th July 1970.

Merio Ameglio trained himself on the Mediterranean coast where he was raised and went on to produce works in a number of regions of France including the Seine and Loire vallies, Marseilles, Chartres and Paris.

It is thought that Imeglio was largely self-taught and that he honed his artistic skills with his associations with well known artists in Paris at the time.
