DESCRIPTION: For sale - A German modernist oil wall hanging by eminent Cologne based artist Eva Ohlow. The painting depicts a tied scroll with esoteric symbols on a mottled brown and deep purple coloured background. The work is on heavy oil cloth and is designed to be hung on a wall using the metal eyelets at the top of the piece. This is one of four works we have for sale that form part of the 'Philosophia brief' series. The work is dated differently front and verso.
