DESCRIPTION: Fred Yates acrylic painting on canvas, 46cm x 33cm, showing a garden scene - likely to be Fred's garden in France. Thick impasto paintwork in bright colours. The stretcher and the back of the canvas bear the Fred Yates Atelier Sale stamp and also stamp and label from Leighton Fine Arts who were at the Paris sale of Fred's studio contents on March 31st 2014. The painting is signed Fred Yates to bottom left of centre.
