DESCRIPTION: For sale - Model head of a girl with plaited hair on signed pedestal by Phoebe Stabler dated 1911. A very rare and important early piece by the artist. Made while Phoebe Stabler was working alongside her husband at his pottery in Hammersmith.

MARKS: The side of the plinth is inscribed 'PHOEBE STABLER 1911".
