DESCRIPTION: Oil painting on board titled 'The Thames at Cookham' showing a river scene with two children paddling to the foreground. The work is displayed in a modern gilt moulded frame and has excellent provenance coming from the artist's family. The painting is accompanied by a copy invoice dated 18th June 2001 from Michael Dickens Fine Art, Broadstairs, Kent CT10 1ND. Dorothy Hepworth moved to Cookham in 1925 with her lifelong partner Patricia Preece.
