DESCRIPTION: Phoebe Stabler Picardy Peasant Woman on plinth.
MARKS: Inscribed 'PHOEBE STABLER". Below the Stabler incrisption is the slighted hint of a date, possibly 1908. This figure was paired with the Picardy Peasant Man which had a very clear 1908 inscription. It is therefore reasonable to date this piece to 1908 also.
