DESCRIPTION: Myott Asymmetric Vase with orange area to lower half of jug blending in to brown base. Green cabochons on beige background. This is a rare colourway for what is also a rare shape. The only example I have seen.

BASE MARKS: Gold Myott crown, MYOTT SON & Co., MADE IN ENGLAND, HAND PAINTED, H9369 (pattern number). Impressed rectangular MYOTT. Impressed rectangular MADE IN ENGLAND. Incised batch number '30'.

COLOURS: Orange, brown, beige and green

SHAPE: Asymmetric Vase

MATERIAL: Earthenware

SIZE: 7.75 inches (19.7cm) tall

DATE: 1930's

STYLE: Art Deco

CONDITION: Excellent. Some cracking to glaze on the insde of the jug but doesn't go through to outside. A couple of glaze crazing marks to outside. This is a thickly glazed bright example.
