MARKS: Legend on base reads 'Of a First Edition Strictly Limited to One Thousand Jugs bearing the Signatures of the PRIME MINISTER and the ARTIST, This is Number 46'. Signature of 'Percy Metcalfe' (the artist). Ashtead Potters mark with 'Star' date symbol indicating 1925/1926. J25 (model number), 'k' glaze mark, Signature: 'With best wishes from Leslie Harwood'.
COLOUR: 'Pearl Barley' as indicated by the 'k' glaze mark.
