DESCRIPTION: An Art deco style earthenware character jug of Johnnie Walker in top hat, riding breeches and red jacket, seated on chair.

BASE MARKS: The legend on the base reads 'THE EDITION OF THESE JUGS IS STRICTLY LIMITED. THIS IS NUMBER 444' Below the legend is 'PERCY METCALFE SC.'. Then the Ashtead Potters mark with 'Star' date symbol indicating 1925/1926, above Rd No 720295 and 'MADE IN ENGLAND'. The text around the base reads 'Johnnie Walker Born 1820 Kilmarnock still going strong'.
