DESCRIPTION: For sale - an earthenware figure of lady with black hair in dress holding a posy of yellow flowers designed by Anne Acheson. The dress is of a layered design with the hems of each layer in blue. There is a green and yellow floral or foliate pattern to the dress. The lady is wearing a blue shawl finished with yellow tassles and a blue bonnet with yellow ribbon. The Ashtead Potters model number for this piece is 'M5', but is generally not present on the base in most examples seen.

CONDITION: Excellent - just light overall crazing and a small glaze chip to edge of base on the underside, which is not visible when displayed. The glaze chip can be seen in the last image, above and to the right of the Ashtead Potters mark
